Jim Anderson of Show Me Farrier Service is a Certified Farrier with the American Farriers Association and is currently servicing the Southwest Missouri area.  Jim graduated from Heartland Horseshoeing School where he learned first hand the correct way to shoe a horse, how to make handmade shoes, and studied the anatomy of the equine foot and leg. 

As a professional farrier, Jim has provided services to all different sizes and  breeds including performance and show horses.  He is a full time farrier and keeps in stock a wide variety of shoes and equipment to accommodate his customers.  Each horse is shod or trimmed for their discipline, conformation, age and ability with particular attention paid to balance and movement.

Continuing education is also very important.  He believes in keeping current on the latest procedures by attending clinics, seminars, reading books/articles, consulting with veterinarians and other farriers.  Jim feels this is key to doing what is best for each individual horse.

Jim takes pride in his work and keeps his clients on a regular schedule. Communication between his clients insures a professional and friendly relationship.  Show Me Farrier Service also keeps a digital service history for every horse we service.
